  28. It's a pitty to hear people mis-informing the public.

  30. The problem with the drives is when programmers (typically game authors)
  31. don't use the OS to access the drive.  Track loaders and the like can cause
  32. a problem.

  34. There ISN'T anything inherintly uncompatible with the drives, only with the
  35. softwares use of the OS.  Just as with any upgrade or change, if people
  36. choose not to use the OS and hit the hardware, such problems will arise.

  38. And 'lots' of (games) software is not the fact.  A handful.  I only am aware
  39. of the commercial version of Fears not working.  Anyone know of other games
  40. (or apps) that don't work with the new drive that they can mention?

  42. Oh, and ONE item is not 'LOTS'.
